When you think of a vintage Las Vegas wedding, the El Cortez Hotel is one of those timeless gems that immediately comes to mind. Nestled in the heart of Downtown, the Jackie Gaughan Suite was the perfect backdrop for Asa and Jacqui's old-school Vegas celebration.
The morning started with laughter and excitement as the bride and her girls wore retro-inspired robes, while the groom and his crew rocked tones that felt straight out of the 70s. The whole aesthetic was effortlessly cool and set the tone for a wedding that was both fun and stylish.
Of course, no classic Las Vegas wedding would be complete without Elvis! Their ceremony was officiated by an Elvis impersonator, adding that iconic Vegas flair everyone dreams of when they elope here. The Jackie Gaughan Suite, with its glamorous vintage charm, gave the ceremony a mix of romance and old-school Vegas sparkle.
The couple hired us for both photography and video, and we captured the day in a mix of formats: digital, vintage camcorder, and dreamy Super 8 film. This blend of modern and retro storytelling truly fit their vision of a wedding that was stylish, fun, and completely unique.
